UKF Returns To The West Country Motherland This October

F stands for fun. F stands for friends. F stands for fire DJs like Friction, Grafix, Hybrid Minds and The Prototypes who will all be playing for us at a very special UKF10 party on October 5.
F stands for Frome a quirky market town in Somerset.
15 miles from the farm where cult hippie magnet Glastonbury Festival is held. 22 miles from the legendary D&B city Bristol. 110 miles from UKF’s current HQ, Frome is where Luke Hood grew up, fell in love with bass music and launched UKF aged just 16. What else did you think the F in UKF stood for?
10 years later, we’re proud to have developed such a prominent voice in global bass culture. UKF is a platform that’s played a role in the careers of hundreds of your favourite artists and held events across the world from America to Australia. But until now we’ve never held an event in the place where it all began.
A Frome with a view: following massive arena takeovers at Exit Festival and Let It Roll – plus a constant slew of exclusive UKF10 singles from some of the biggest and most exciting names in bass music – the next event to celebrate our 10th anniversary takes things back to a much more personal, intimate level. We’re returning to the source with some of the most important and longstanding artists in the UKF story to play a unique one-off event at the Cheese & Grain.
Frome’s most famous performance space, Cheese & Grain has been known to host secret gigs from Glastonbury headliners including Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters, Ash and song-writer legend Loudon Wainwright. The heart of the town and run on a not-for-profit basis, the venue is just as likely to host community meetings and art exhibitions as it is secret gigs. And on October 5, it will be home to a very cheeky UKF10 rave.
F stands for four sick drum & bass acts synonymous with the sound and spirit of UKF who’ve grown with us and pushed the music we love for the last decade.
F stands for future. F stands for front row. We’ll see you there. BTW, F also stands for fast. Tickets for this will not hang around for long.
