With ultrasonic frequencies leading the show from the get-go, the eerie vibe of something not being just right slowly creeps in. Suddenly the drum beat kicks in like judgement day is upon us. The tension is palpable, a computer voice speaks to you, and as you prepare for the worst, it tells you it’s just a dream. Or is it? Time for a “Reality Check” for sure! Hard-hitting drums, prominent synths and a heavy, modulated bassline all take over to wake you from this nightmare. Or maybe they don’t; perhaps they’re just trying to take you deeper into the rabbit hole. Everything around you becomes blurry; you can no longer tell what the hell is going on and whether it’s happening for real or just a product of your imagination.
