Talented producer Zero G has certainly proved his pedigree over the years with releases on Digital Soundboy, Dope Ammo, and Benny Page’s Dub Shotta to name a few. Now he steps up on Mammoth Muzik with two bass heavy cuts that do not disappoint!
‘Spiritual Love’ takes us back to the classic jungle days, with a rare groove sample that evokes memories of Tom and Jerry’s anthem ‘Maximum Style’. This gives way to crisp, rolling drums, and a simple but effective, dread bass style bassline. Future jungle at its best!
‘Dreams’ also draws on jungle influences but has a darker edge. The intro features jazzy stabs that are reminiscent of old Full Cycle tracks, with the classic sample ‘We are the Dreamers’. The drums are weighty, and the bassline is deep, dark and rolling, with a jazzy edge that compliments the vibe of this track perfectly.
