Release- 15th October

Dynamic Audio

“RAZOR BLADE” the latest release on Dynamic Audio showcases Modified Motion and Faction at their Versatile best. Featuring four totally different styles of drum and base. Each track as equally amazing as the last, yet composed of undeniably the unique sound that these two Producers are known and loved for.

Razorblade does what it should, CUTS… Slashing it’s way directly to your eardrums. The intro is simplistic perfection crafted from a solitary snare, siren like rise and ethereal vocal. Leading us to the drop the boys kick in with their signature chunky base stabs, expert cuts and clever use of air gaps. But let us not forget what has always made Modified Motion and Faction stand out from the crowd. The swing. Razor blade is a pure unadulterated stomper but it also has swing, which in turn gives it sole! And when a track has sole its best played exceedingly loudly to those hungry to dance.

Is 3 Play Jump Up? Is 3 Play Tech? No Its Modified Motion doing what they do best. Putting two fingers up to sub genre labels and making what the F**K they feel. And boy does 3 play make you feel… Its dark and twisted from the off, Opening with the sound of a fear inducing vocal sample, distorted bells and muted snare. A short drum roll to the drop and you are fully immersed. This track smacks. Crisp snares and shakers give it frenetic pace, the underlying rolling sub base give it a depth and darkness seldom featured in DnB today, and its all held together with the spine chilling distorted vocal 3 play sample.

'Going Away' immediately transports you back to the golden years of Drum and Bass. The light upset, funky base and soulful female vocal combine with a hefty drum roll to take you to the drop. But this isn’t 1996 and this is Modified Motion and Faction in the lab, and what they give you is a tune that may be soulful and funked up to the max but it still has an iron back bone. The vocal has the perfect amount of reverb, the kicks, snare and shakers keep it paced. Combine that with the electro piano and rolling base line and you have the perfect 2017 Drum and Base roller.

Hellraiser VIP will be the last collaboration released by Supreme Being as we know him (don’t judge, he will be back. just under a different moniker,) And what better way to retire than to re work an already infamous track with your long time co lab partners Modified Motion and Faction. Hellraiser VIP still has its instantly recognisable film score like orchestral intro, but once it drops… Well lets just say this is Hellraiser but not as you know it! It’s crunchy, It’s bouncy, it’s fast, in fact it’s actually kind of messed up, but it works. With bleeps and blips, big drum kicks and squelchy bass stabs, it fizzes it whizzes, the god damn the track even rings. These three take no prisoners when they work together and Hellraiser VIP is a perfect example of that fact.
