A ground-breaking new jungle EP, Dance To The Rhythm, is set to drop this November, featuring four tracks initiated by Run Da Riddim’s inspired founder and talented young junglist Calum Leighton, and completed by a stellar line up of jungle luminaries from the scene, as covered by BBC Points West and on BBC News.
Leighton, a sorely missed soul from Bristol’s DnB rave scene, left behind a collection of unfinished tunes. A testament to his enduring influence, four of these raw ideas have been meticulously crafted into fully fledged jungle anthems by Jappa, Toby Ross, Oram and Scuffed, all artists whom Leighton had met and been hugely inspired by.
This collaborative project is a unique and poignant homage to Leighton’s legacy. Each track carries the essence of the original vision, while showcasing the distinct styles of each artist involved. The result is an EP that is both a celebration of Leighton’s genius and a fresh statement in the jungle genre.
