Label: Digital Terror

Release Date: 21st December 2018

Digital Terror is a one of a kind American Drum & Bass label carving its own place in the dance music landscape. The next chapter in the mission to push some of the finest Drum and Bass of 2018 is a testament to DTR’s clever strategy behind the scenes. Maintaining the ethos of keeping it in the family has continued to shape the backbone of DTR’s high energy sound. After a countless number of memorable hits from past to present, with tunes such as Nothing, Arab Stamp, Keabord Ninja, and Thomas The Skank Engine, Internationally acclaimed producer Jayline returns with a highly sought after batch of bangers to light up the rave with this ‘Have to Die’ EP.

Opening the curtain on what this EP has to offer, Jayline takes no prisoners on “Light of Day”. combining a doomsday length bass note that fills the entire room atop Jayline’s signature “skanky" drum kits; you can’t help but get dancing. If you haven’t heard this supported by several top-tier DJ’s on the scene, you need to get out more: “WHOA!” brings the aggressive swagger of 90’s hip hop with modern-day DnB together into full on gun finger salute, creating utter madness on the floor every time is drops. In the perfect storm of time and talent on tour, Jayline links up with Dutta, Bou and Los Angeles based MC Dino on “Pico Skank”; a homage to their West Coast performance together while encompassing all things that make a nasty roller. Finally, Jayline closes the EP with a notable collaboration alongside artist and label mastermind Masseo; their joined experience is the perfect way to damage a dance floor with destructive results. Title track, “Have to Die” gets straight to the point with a heart pounding presentation of racing drums, clipped breaks and a detuned bass melody just itching for a rewind.
