Heralded for his high-arching production standard and explorative soundscapes, InsideInfo has set himself apart through a range of releases which have seen him never stick to one style. A prime example would be his self-titled ‘InsideInfo’ LP on Viper Recordings – it stood as a testament to his cross-genre appeal. His Circuits collaboration with Critical boss Kasra has also seen him dive into a new sonic territory over 2018 and the minimal, yet finely tuned records they’ve dropped has further solidified his place amongst the drum & bass’ heaviest hitters.

However, This brand new single ‘Lost It’ is a new chapter for the artist. He’s taking full creative control of his most recent productions and is releasing it through a brand-new moniker. ‘Lost It’ is a full exploration of the sonic sequences he’s spent years perfecting; during a time where tracks are becoming shorter, ‘Lost It’ instead focuses on the type of skeleton which is constantly evolving as it progresses. The rolling bass notes which shake through to the steppy beat patterns, which keep the track pushing forward between each thumping sub, ensure you’re fully immersed throughout. Slightly understated in its approach, ‘Lost It’ grabs you by the synapses and holds you throughout every breakdown. Its execution keeps a momentum that grabs your attention - there’s no space to catch your breath. Whilst ‘Lost It’ has some frequencies from the period of drum & bass which caused the popularity of its moodier underbelly, there’s a contemporary underpinning throughout.

‘Lost it’ is an encompassing insight into what InsideInfo has forthcoming over the next twelve months. It’s an open book which is about to be written in; moving into the most independent stage of his career yet, it’s the perfect platform for him to capitalise on the last decade of his successes.
