Bailey Greer & Josh Croft aka In:Most are back! After roughly a 2 year break from releasing, 2024 saw these Soulvent mainstays return, bringing with them the start of a truly wonderful series of EPs. Soulvent Records proudly presents the first volume of ‘Dream Sequences’. The title of the project perfectly captures In:Most’s ability to craft soundscapes that take you away. Showcasing their own abilities as well as reviving some strong, familiar partnerships. The boys have awoken from their brief nap with an exciting set of tracks that will inspire and delight.

‘Wibble’ slowly begins with a dreamy soundscape, with drawn out synths before a space age explorer informs you that there’s something beneath the surface and it’s clear that there is more than meets the eye with this track. The clean, steppy drums give ample room to showcase what In:Most can do with sound design. Rousing arpeggios with plenty of progression are the main focus in the first half of the track but the second drop lets the bassline take centre stage, resulting in a potent tune that will certainly have you bouncing.

‘Close’ sees In:Most get back together with Mistrust, who they last collaborated with on their 2020 debut LP Voyager; opening with an uplifting intro, chock-full of swirling synths and gliding pads ‘Close’ erupts into a bouncy ‘anti-drop’ stepper that is perfect for keeping the club on their toes. Mistrust’s own vocal sample perfectly permeates this bubbly banger whilst tight minimal drums, awash with clicks and claps, hug you snug to the beat throughout. The second drop ushers in a 4-to-the-floor kick drum pattern which only serves to further up the intensity of this driving ditty.

‘Construct’ kicks off with a moody synth line and vintage In:Most atmospherics which quickly snowball into a heavyweight dance floor damager. The minimal, snappy drums make ample room for the aural assault of swelling sub bass and distant synth swirls. The breakdown brings minor reprieve before you are plunged right back into the meat of the gritty, guttural experience that In:Most have constructed here.
‘Frail’, featuring label mates, Askel & Elere, has a wonderfully spacey tonality, clearly blending the influence of all 4 contributors in a unique way. The vocals are vintage YENAIS with long drawn out tones, adding to the ethereal element perfectly. The drop brings high energy drums and suitably glitchy, gliding liquid sensibilities which have a strength that belies the title of the track.
