EXEA is an Austria-based duo composed of Erik & Emma, a vocalist and producer pairing that have been crafting their own brand of infectious, song-driven drum & bass which we’re incredibly privileged to share with you here at Soulvent.
Debut single ‘Do It Right’ showcases their effortless ability to combine solid rnb-meets-pop songwriting with clever, understated accompaniment, resulting in a pleasingly smooth roller. Emma’s vibrant harmonies bounce beautifully against Erik’s playful production, awash with bubbling basslines, progressive percussion and synth flourishes. With such an exciting introductory release, we can’t wait to see what other aural delights EXEA have to offer this year.
