Iconic Drum & Bass / Jungle DJ and producer Ed Solo returns to the scene with his massive viral track, ‘Mario Underground DnB,’ a nostalgic yet modern blend of old-school gaming vibes and cutting-edge drum & bass basslines. Earlier this year ‘Mario Underground DnB’ started to become a viral phenomenon, and was also critically acclaimed as ‘The Techno Track of the Year’ by American podcasters Breadbasket Podcast.
Setting the record straight, the track is a Drum and Bass remix, which Solo produced to introduce his set on the Dubtendo stage at Boomtown 2023. The track soon gained traction the following year in 2024 when Dubtendo posted a video of the track played in the alps on a portable DJ controller and soon hit 10 million views across DnB Allstars socials.
Social clips featuring the tune went viral across all platforms and as a result Ed Solo & Dubtendo's Instagram inbox was inundated every day with fan messages requesting the full version of the track. Now fans' requests have been answered with ‘Mario Underground DnB’ is set to be released on Friday 18th October.
