Omni Music welcomes the incredible Arcane Trickster back to the label with their first full EP. Known for being adept at turning their hand to almost any style of electronic music they turn their attention to the sounds Omni fans love, the atmospheric beats. The EP title track starts the journey with heavenly piano and building rhythms before it morphs into a supercharged dancefloor roller that twists and turns with frenetic bass melodics and acid-laden vibes. Optimal Flow starts with ethereal vocals and jazz notes that sound submerged underwater before the breaks begin to roll serenely across their surface as another sonic tale ebbs and flows like the tide. Cosmic Imprint wins the award for most epic and beautiful intro as delightful piano and pads rise from the deep creating an ambient intro worthy of being a track of its own. All that changes when the beat and bass drop in, complete with rivers of arpeggio and strings that help the music sail along. The EP ends with their ambient take on Signal Sky, a soulful and poetic journey of long pads, captivating piano and joyful keys. We hope to feature Arcane Trickster again in the future, but for now just sit back and enjoy their latest chapter.
