Drum & Bass legend and Hospital Records star Danny Byrd is taking over Halo Bournemouth with The Prototypes on the 13th May 2022!

Straight off the back of his huge new single with grime legend D Double E, Danny Byrd will be bringing his signature sound to the church for one night only. Danny Byrd's soulful, vocal Drum & Bass has become a staple in the scene. His use of hip-hop, house and R&B styles have turned heads ever since he first hit the scene. The Bath based, brandy-drinking producer has been responsible from some of the biggest rave anthems over the years.

Brighton based Drum & Bass duo The Prototypes are known around the world for their potent hard hitting production and signature sound. Their latest album 'Ten Thousand Feet & Rising' was met with critical claim and expansive airtime on the biggest radio stations in the world. Having released tracks with UKF, Viper Recordings, Ram Records and more, these guys have cemented theirselves as one of the biggest acts on the scene.

After making his debut with RAVR in 2020, Voltone returns to Halo after a string of mind melting performances. Hailing from Bournemouth, Voltone is set on bringing diverse mind-bending bass music to the stage. His fast paced, chugging, guttural sound is easily identifiable and knows no genre. Be prepared for anything and everything when Voltone takes the stage.

This show is supported by Drum & Bass Producer Abzero, who made her performing debut with RAVR in 2020, alongside local producer Zapya, and Brighton based DJ Luap.
